Skye's Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

Where Wildlife Gets A Second Chance

Project List

Here is a list of the projects we are working to complete to make our center even better.  Caring for wildlife is an ongoing task, it doesn’t end after one animal is cared for and released, there are always many other animals and birds that need care that come in every day.  Help us to help them by sponsoring a project so that the wildlife can have safe enclosures to heal.

· “Completed 2011” 100 X 30 X 20 Foot Flight Enclosure to handle birds like Eagles, Ospreys and other large birds of prey.

· Additional 50 X 15 X 15 Foot Flight Enclosure for the ever growing numbers of birds of prey that need exercise before they are released

· “One completed 2009” Four 30 X 10 X 10 Foot Flight enclosures for Barred Owls, Barn Owls, Broadwing Hawks, etc…

· Two 8 X 8 X 8 Foot Flight Enclosures for Screech Owls, American Kestrels, and Saw Whet Owls

· Two 20 Foot Square Flight enclosures for Songbirds

· “One completed 2009, one completed 2011” Four 4 X 8 X 6 Foot Squirrel and Small Mammal enclosures

· One completed 2011” Eight 12 X 20 X 8 Foot Display enclosures for Non Releasable Birds for Public Display

· 20 X 70 Longhouse for educational use.

· “Completed 2009” 20 X 40 Pavilion for educational use

· Amphitheater for educational use

· Memory Trail with sponsored trees to reforest a part of the property for wildlife habitat.

Your help is needed to make these dreams a reality.  A plaque will be added to the enclosures with the names of the sponsors.
