Bobcat Story

 

Young Male Bobcat now residing at Skye’s Spirit Wildlife

Meet the newest addition to our educational outreach team, a young Male Bobcat.  He was found in the Pocono's area of Pennsylvania severely emaciated and dehydrated.  He was taken by a licensed rehabilitator to their vet and upon x-ray, found that his stomach was impacted.  Emergency surgery was performed and the vet removed many pieces of latex dog toy.  It is thought he was held illegally as a pet and then discarded when he became sick.  He is too friendly to be returned to the wild so he was transferred to our center to teach everyone about Bobcats!  Please help us to care for this wonderful animal by making a donation for his care on the sponsorship page.
